am very happy that Dr. Andrew Gelman joined Nate Silver and the 538 team. Dr. Gelman contributed yesterday with further support from the 2008 election for the contention that income predicts Republican vote more strongly in red than in blue states.Interestingly, one of the graphs at the link labels our fair state as purple.
